As a writer and an editor, I'm focused on telling compelling stories and communicating ideas and information. I've edited for advertising agencies, written and edited for magazines and websites, and taught copyediting.
After attending the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting, my editorial background and interest in film led to a job managing communications for New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT), where I helped promote the Muse Awards and other events and programs. As a volunteer, I co-edited NYWFIT's blog and scripted PSAs for WIF/LA, winning a Telly Award.
Last year, my pilot script "The Summerland" placed 4th in the Shore Scripts Screenwriting Competition and was a semifinalist in the ScreenCraft Pilot Launch contest. Previously, my script "Stay" won Best Short Screenplay at the Oregon Independent Film Festival.
